Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. David Sinclair

Greetings fellow Titans and readers of all ages!  As the new librarian at Sugar Land Middle School, I am excited to bring my ELA background and passion for literature to this campus.  I have been an educator since 2010, when I started teaching high school English at Hastings HS in Alief ISD.  I primarily taught pre-AP English and SAT prep for the 7 years I was at that campus, my main extracurriculars being UIL academics and a decidedly non-academic Gamers Club.  After getting my Masters in Library & Informational Sciences, I transferred to Fort Bend ISD and ran the Armstrong Elementary library for 2 years.  While there, I was the only FBISD librarian to be awarded 2018-19 Teacher of the Year.  When not focused on my educational practice I like to spend my time reading, gaming, and backpacking through the wilderness.  So far I have very much enjoyed working with the students and staff of SLMS and sharing my love of literature, learning, and of course, the library!  For more information on the library, its programs and resources, please see the Library & Media section of the SLMS website.
