Welcome to ESOL / Sheltered Reading.  I am looking forward to a year of growing and learning together at Crawford High School. 

I have been an English teacher since 1994, working with English Language Learners since 2002.  In addition to English, I also read and write in Spanish, French and German.  I understand that learning a new language requires hard work and much effort.  

I grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas, and I have moved many times with my family before coming back to Texas in 2013.  Living in Houston has been an adventure for my family, which includes my husband Mark, son Christian, daughter Klara, and 3 dogs-Ozzy, Taz, and Birdie. 

I am looking forward to getting to know you and I know that 2024-2025 will be a great school year!
