Welcome to 3rd grade!

  My name is Michelle Torp, and this will be my 19th year in education.  I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, and my teaching certification from Sam Houston State University; I am certified to teach Gifted and Talented students and English Second Language students.  I have taught 3rd, 4th, 5th grade, Math, Science, English Language Arts and Social Studies.  My favorite grade to teach is 3rd grade!

  My greatest joy is helping my students to achieve both personal and academic achievement.       I look forward to working with your child this year, and to teaching them not only academic objectives, but valuable life skills as well.
