Hello everyone! 

First and foremost I would love to give you the biggest warm welcome to Malala Yousafzai Elementary!
My name is Mrs. Hannah Cantu and I will be teaching Kindergarten this year. I grew up in Fort Bend County and attended elementary through high school in the local area. I am an "OG" Malala staff member, having been here since the beginning-- this is my 6th year teaching at MYE. I am also the Lead Cheer Coach sponsor for our MYE Leaping Leopards as well. 

Education & Background:
I attended the University of Houston for my undergraduate degree, in which I obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Teaching and Learning in December 2016. I continued enrollment at University of Houston for my graduate degree, my Masters of Education in Social Education.
 I have over ten years of experience in education, working at public, private, prep, and international schools.
I am excited to help your child learn and grow this year! 

In my spare time on the weekends, I love to go to the gym, go hiking, read, and spend time with my husband and my two daughters. I also love to cook and go to the movies. 

My MYE Vision:
Malala Yousafzai Elementary School will embody everything that is associated with its namesake. Everyone deserves a quality education but also the encouragement and support to do so. MYE will strive to provide the utmost in education for our student body, as Malala has fought and continues to fight for, all across the world.
