Ms. Nicole Worthy

Greetings!

I am truly excited to continue as a member of the Malala learning community.  As a former Fort Bend ISD student, it is indeed an honor to teach in this exceptional district.  I am one of the Reading, Writing, and Social Studies teachers on the super 2nd-grade team.  Currently, my certification affords me the opportunity to teach Core Subjects in Early Childhood - 6th grade with an inclusion to instruct students who identify English as a second language.

I have a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, San Diego, where my major was Human Development.  I received my teaching credential from California State University, Dominguez Hills.  Being the mother of an inquisitive middle schooler, a high school freshman, and an ambitious college sophomore keeps the importance of a competitive education at the forefront.

It is my goal to help students become effective communicators and equip them with skills for life.  Through exploration, peer collaboration, and open discourse (supporting our Emergent Bilingual population as well), students will achieve proficiency of the standards.

Together, we will undoubtedly achieve more!

Please feel free to contact me via email nicole.worthy@fortbendisd.gov.
