About Me

Welcome!  My name is Lorie Johnson, and this is my 35th year as an educator.  I have had the privilege of teaching a wide range of grade levels, from second through twelfth grade, in both special and general education settings. Specifically, I have taught special education for grades 3-12 and general education for grades 2-8.  This year, I am excited to be teaching the ABC class!

Education and Certifications

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education (gades 1-8) with a specialization in mathematics from Lamar University.  I am certified to teach Special Education for grades EC-12 in Texas.

In addition, I hold the following certifications from the state of Florida:

• Elementary Education
• Mathematics (grades 5-9)
• Exceptional Student Education (ESE), K-12
