My name is Mahira Qureshi, and I am thrilled to be a part of the 4th Grade team here at Malala Yousafzai Elementary! I have a passion for creating a positive, engaging classroom environment where every student feels valued and empowered to grow.

This is my 2nd year as a classroom teacher. I have been working in Sped/Resource department for the past 3 years, and I love helping students discover their strengths, build confidence, and achieve their goals.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy traveling and baking. I am also a member of the Aliana community and live here with my supportive husband and 4 kids.

I believe strong partnerships with families are key to student success, and I look forward to working closely with you throughout the year.
