Hello!

My name is Samantha Krohn and I am thrilled to be your student's 3rd Grade teacher this year!

I was born and raised in Guatemala City, Guatemala and moved to the United States in 2008. I attended Flower Mound High school in the DFW area. I attended NCTC for 2 years and then transferred to UNT to finish my Bachelor's Degree. I majored in Kinesiology with a P.E. certification. That summer, I got certified to be a bilingual classroom teacher and thus began my teacher career in CFBISD in 2016.  The summer of 2017 I got married to my husband and moved to Pearland. I taught at Pearland ISD for 5 years. During this time, we welcomed 2 tiny people (3 and 5) to the Krohn family. I joined the Fort Bend ISD family in 2022 at Patterson Elementary teaching 4th grade Math and Science. This is my second year at Malala Elementary and I am beyond ecstatic to be here! 

This is my 9th year teaching. I am very excited for this new opportunity and to get to know and serve this amazing community.
