Welcome to MYE Art!

My name is Marisa Grayden, and I am the Art 1 teacher here at Malala Elementary.

I grew up in the city of Richmond, Texas. I have not only lived in the area, but also attended school in Fort Bend ISD starting in Elementary all the way through High School. I completed a year of in-class student teaching in Fort Bend ISD as well. I love this district! I attended the University of Houston where I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Minor in Education and completed my certification in Art for grades EC-12.

I look forward to creating a safe and welcoming environment where all students can be creative and learn about the visual arts. I believe everyone is an artist, they just need to find what style and mediums work best for them. I am so excited to teach your leopards all about the amazing world of art!
