Background

I have a Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston. My passion is in teaching students and make it fun.  I

have 29 years of teaching experience. I have taught both in the classroom setting and as an online

instructor. I also specialize in teaching English as a Second Language to non-native English speakers. During the weekends,

I teach Sunday School and teach English to newcomer to the states. This is my 3rd year teaching at Malala, and my 2nd year in Pre-K.

Family

I am married to my sweet husband for 22 years and we have two great children. My oldest daughter will be entering her freshman year at Stephen F. Austin University to study Nursing. My youngest is a Senior at Dulles high school. Both girls are Athletic Trainers and compete in Karate for Kickstart.  Our dog Blue has been a member of our family for 7 years now.  We enjoy going on vacations, cooking, baking, and spending time with family!
