Welcome to Ms. Horton's 1st grade class! I am excited about embarking on this wonderful journey filled with learning with your child.

This is my fifth year as an educator, and I am ecstatic to be a part of the Malala Yousafazi Elementary Family. I am a proud graduate of the University of Houston and a Houston native.  In my spare time I enjoy dancing, singing, crafting and watching shows with my family. I also like to take my furry friend on long walks.

I am so honored and blessed to have the opportunity to help your child grow and achieve goals as a 1st grader. Let's have an amazing school year! MYE LEAP!!!
