Welcome to 2nd Grade at MYE!

My name is Tanvi Tejani, and I’m excited to be your child’s teacher this year. I earned my teaching degree from the University of Houston in 2005. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to teach in several school districts—including Fort Bend ISD (where I began my career), Alief ISD, and Dallas ISD—before returning to Fort Bend ISD, which I’m proud to call home again.

Over the years, I’ve taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 3rd grade. After taking a break to raise my two wonderful children, I made the decision to return to the classroom. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found a supportive and inspiring community here in Fort Bend ISD.

This year, I will be teaching a self-contained 2nd grade class, which means I’ll be guiding your child in all core subjects throughout the day. I currently serve as the 2nd Grade Team Leader and work alongside an amazing group of educators who share my passion for teaching and love of learning. I am deeply committed to helping children learn, grow, and reach their fullest potential.
