Welcome to Art!  Being a mom of two fantastic artists, it is my joy and passion to tap into students' creativity and give students a way to express themselves as individuals.  I have enjoyed all avenues of the Fine Arts, such as dance, band, and visual arts.  I graduated from Texas A&M where I met my husband 28 years ago.  Both my daughter and son are graduates of Texas A&M as well, making us a true Aggie Family.  I have been with Highlands since 2014.  It was an honor to serve as Highland's Campus Teacher of the Year during the 2019-2020 school year.  I currently spend my time creating, painting, and enjoying the chaos of our two crazy dogs and adorable bearded dragon.  I am looking forward to another year of sweet creations, creativity at its finest, and a world of endless possibilities!
