Born in Oklahoma, I earned my B.S. in Biology at Oklahoma State University.  After several years in retail and banking, and after 3 kids, I began substituting at the local schools.  I found a real passion for teaching, and got my Alternative Certification to teach 7th Grade Texas History.  My role as a teacher is to provide knowledge and opportunities for all students who go through my classroom.  

I have been married for 28 years and have 3 children who have attended the school here at James Bowie and have and will move on to a high school in FBISD.   We enjoy traveling and camping together as well as watching our children participate in sports.
