After teaching and coaching in the states of Texas and Kansas for nearly 25 years, Coach Brown has enjoyed outstanding success in the educational profession. Coach Brown, after graduating from Waco Jefferson-Moore H.S., where he starred in football (quarterback), and basketball, state runner-ups, began his collegiate career at Baylor University as a walk-on QB. He transferred to Texas Southern University where he was the starting quarterback for 2 years. Mr. Brown entered the teaching profession after graduating from TSU, earning a B.S. degree in Social Studies and Physical Education. Coach Brown is extremely passionate about his profession because he realizes that, through education, all other professions are made possible.
