Marion O. Ross, Jr is the Director of Choirs at Hightower High School. Upon graduating with a Master of Education in Leadership degree from American College of Education and Texas Southern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education (All Levels Music: PK - 12), he has over 20 years of vocal & instrumental teaching experience in Oklahoma and Texas combined. Administratively, Mr. Ross has also served as an Assistant Principal, Dean of Instruction and Magnet Coordinator. He is affiliated with Texas Music Educators Association, Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development and Phi Mu Alpha Professional Music Fraternity.

As a veteran teacher and advocate for Music Education, Mr. Ross mentor’s young musicians and future Music Educators throughout the Houston – Galveston metropolitan area. He believes that all students should be encouraged to experience musical performance that secures an earnest effort in group and personal preparation.  All students are encouraged to commit and to strive to be the best that they can be. Mr. Ross is proud to be on the faculty of Hightower High School.
