I started as a Graduate Assistant teaching Freshman Biology under the supervision of a Biology Professor. Upon receiving a Master of Science degree, I accepted a position as an Instructor of Freshman Biology at Jackson State University; Jackson, Mississippi. I moved to Texas and started working in the healthcare and research area. For 22 years, I was a Biomedical Reseach Assistant between M.D. Anderson Cancer Center-Clinical Immunology Drug Carrier (4 years) and Baylor College of Medicine-Texas Children Hospital Children Nutrition Research Center (18 years). My work experences enriched me with in-depth knowledge in Health and Biomedical Sciences.
I am delighted to teach Health Sciences; and I am proud to be the HOSA Sponsor for our future health professional workers.
