Hi! My name is Ms. Shannon Friske, and I teach Algebra 1. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from William Woods University, and I’m so excited to be part of this school community.

I believe that every student can grow in math with the right encouragement and support. My goal is to help my students feel confident in their problem-solving skills and to show them how algebra can be useful and even fun!

When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll probably find me riding my horse, Coda, or spending time with my two dogs, Apollo and Ghost. I also love to travel and stay active—I play soccer, and I’m thrilled to be coaching the boys’ freshman soccer team.

I’m looking forward to a wonderful year of learning and growing together!
