Hey Canes!!!

I am an English IV/AP English IV teacher, and I am also the Senior Sponsor for the Class of 2025.

I remember when I got to college, all I could think to myself was how no one prepared me for the realities of college, and I wanted to be that role model for students who could speak life into them and help them figure out how to reach their goals.  That's what inspired me to become a teacher.

I am a Houston native who graduated from Alief Taylor High School, then went on to receive my bachelor's in Communications from Stephen F. Austin State University.  This is my third year at Hightower, but my 12th year of teaching.  I have a 17-year-old daughter who is a GRADUATING SENIOR  here at Hightower!  I love reading, karaoke, and traveling.
