I'm originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, I attended Southern University at Baton Rouge, La. where I earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting.  After working in Accounting for 2 years I decided I wanted to make a difference in young peoples lives, so I went back to school to get certified in math. I taught 10 years in HISD before I made my transition to FBISD, where I'm completing my fifteenth year.
