My name is Mrs. Barnett and I am the school librarian at Lantern Lane Elementary. I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Houston in 2004 and I received my master's degree from Sam Houston State University in 2015. This is my 13th year at Lantern Lane Elementary and my 11th year as the librarian. Prior to becoming a librarian, I taught 3rd and 4th grade. My favorite children's author is Kwame Alexander and my favorite genre is realistic fiction. I love to read, and I am so excited to share my love for reading with all of you.
