Hello! I am Mrs. Weston and I teach 2nd grade. This will be my 4th year at Lantern Lane and my 18th year in education. I received my bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and my master’s degree from the University of St. Thomas in Houston. Both of my degrees are in education as that is my passion! 

I have a wonderful husband and two amazing boys! They keep me very busy when I am not at work. My boys are Connor who is 19, and going to be a first-year student at Stephen F. Austin State University this year. Ethan who is 15 and a sophomore at George Ranch High School. Ethan is active in the band, TSA, Robotics, and D&D at his school. We are also a family who are active in the Boy Scouts. I was the Cubmaster of their pack for almost 8 years before transferring to the troop when my youngest one made it to Boy Scouts. I am now the scoutmaster of our Troop. My boys keep me busy, and I love every minute being involved with them and encouraging their success! I am their biggest cheerleader! I love the outdoors, reading, crafting, and my family.

I am excited for an amazing year! There are a sea of possibilities and I look forward to diving in and helping every student grow this year!
