Justin Kowrach, Principal
It is a privilege to be serving the students, faculty, and community at Lantern Lane Elementary as the Principal!! I am a graduate of Fort Bend ISD and attended Sugar Mill Elementary, Sugar Land Middle School and Kempner High School. I was fortunate to start my teaching at the elementary school I attended as a student. I received my Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston- Downtown. I received my Master of Education in Administration and Educational Supervision from the University of Houston-Victoria.
I have a wife, a 11 year old daughter, and two yellow labs that I love spending time with and taking vacations to various places during my free time.

Tonisha Johnson, Assistant Principal
The 2023-2024 school year is the start of my 18th year in education and I am proud to serve as the Assistant Principal at Lantern Lane Elementary.
I received a Bachelor of Arts in English and an MBA from the University of Houston. I have also earned my Master in Educational Administration from Lamar University. I hold Texas teaching certificates in Generalist EC-4th Grade, Special Education, English as a Second Language, and Educational Administration.
Prior to becoming the Assistant Principal, I also served as the Dean here at LLE, and taught 3rd and 4th grade (all content). I also served as an elementary Instructional Specialist supporting science.
Being a life-long learner is important to me so I engage in various professional development courses, book studies, and hands-on learning opportunities to stay current on best practices in education.
My goal as an educator is to create a stimulating learning environment that allows all students to access meaningful learning experiences and become equipped with skills for life.
