Ms. Colleen Fair

Growing up, both of my parents were college professors, so I guess you could say education is in my blood.  I attended Sam Houston State University while obtaining my Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education with an emphasis in Early Childhood.  I also spent part of my undergraduate studies at Tisch School of the Performing Arts at New York University.  After returning to Texas. I obtained my Masters Degree in Mathematics and School Administration.  I have also begun my Doctoral program at Texas A&M University.

I began my career in education in 1995.  I have had the opportunity to teach every subject, pre-k through 5th grade, as well as serve as an assistant principal for 16 years.

I don't have much free time outside of school, but with the time I do have, I like to travel, take my dog hiking, and volunteer. Another thing that occupies a lot of my time are my five animals; Miah, Meishka, Minga, Mitzi and Meiko.
