Hello, PK Blue Jays!

I'm Mrs. Arrant, one of the Prekindergarten teachers at Oyster Creek Elementary School.  Prekindergarten is a wonderful place for young students to grow vocabulary, practice self-care, and become community learners beside and among their peers away from home. Guiding, encouraging, and celebrating their blossoming brains makes my day.  That’s why I’ve taught this grade level since 2017. Whether lessons are spoken, sung, read together, or mimed, we learn new things to build on the next day. 

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy touring towns across America, reading, making music, and flying my collection of kites with my family: my husband of over 30 years, four adult children, and super-kind and patient pet dog, DJ.

Let’s get ready for a wonderful year of learning to love learning with curiosity, courtesy, and calm.
