My name is Farzana Faruqi and I am so honoured to be the Blue Jays Math and science teacher for 3rd Grade. I started my teaching career in 2013 and this is my sixth year teaching in Houston. Prior to teaching 3rd grade, I taught 5th Grade in Aldine ISD.

I completed my Masters in Administration and Bachelors in Science in India. Later, I decided to further my education and I received my Teaching Certification from the state of Texas.

My husband and I have been married for 24 years and we are blessed with three lovely daughters. In our free time we all love to travel and spend some quality , technology-free , family time.

I have always loved working with children.  I am most excited when I see them learning and taking ownership of their learning.  Keeping a positive attitude and having a lifelong love for learning is what makes my classroom a pleasant learning environment.
