Welcome to 3^rd Grade! I am very excited to be teaching 3^rd grade ELA and Social Studies at OCE!

I was born in India and grew up in snowy Montreal, Canada. That’s where I earned my Master’s degree in Education. After moving to Houston, I received my Teacher’s Certification from UH. I also have specializations in SPED, ESL, and GT.

My husband and I have been married for 32 years and we have one son, Rowan, who is a mechanical engineer. He just started working on his MBA at Rice University.

After teaching for more than 29 years, I continue to have a passion for education. I believe a structured, student-centered environment is important to foster a love of learning and creativity in children.

I look forward to helping my students develop and grow, both academically and socially, with the collaboration of parents and the OCE school community.
