Welcome to Ms. Townsend's Third Grade classroom! I am looking forward to an exciting and rewarding year with your children!

I have been a classroom teacher since 2016, and I am delighted to be a part of the wonderful third grade team! I graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies with a teaching certificate of Early Childhood through 6th grade. It is very important for me to create a positive learning environment for my students, and to have open communication with them, and their parents.

I am originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, but have spent most of my life in Houston, Texas. I enjoy watching basketball, hanging out with my friends, shopping, and reading.
