Welcome Rangers!!!
I am thrilled to be a member of the Ranger family. This is my 14th year as a School Counselor and my 3rd year at Clements! I am originally from North Louisiana, but I have lived in the Houston area for 11 years now. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from LSU Shreveport, a Master of Arts degree in Guidance and Counseling from Louisiana Tech University, and a Doctor of Educational Leadership from Grambling State University.
I have almost 29 years of experience in education as a classroom teacher, curriculum coordinator, academic advisor, college access coordinator and school counselor. I have worked on both secondary and collegiate campuses. It is a privilege and my pleasure to guide you through this high school journey. I am truly motivated by one of my favorite quotes: “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.” -Martin Luther King, Jr.
When I’m not hard at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends! My hobbies are traveling, reading, and cooking. My “real” hobbies are shopping and watching Hallmark and Saints football!!!
Let’s make this the best year ever!!!
