Dear DCMS Choir Families,

Welcome to the new school year! I hope you’ve enjoyed a restful summer and are as excited as I am for what’s ahead in the DCMS Choir program.

I am excited to join the DCMS family as the assistant choir director. This is my eighth year as a teacher, coming from Spring Branch ISD.

The choir program is guided by three core themes: Passion, Purpose, and Building a Culture of Respect. Mrs. Douris and I believe that these principles will help us not only grow as musicians but also foster a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued. 

We have an exciting fall semester ahead with several special events. First, we’re excited to announce the return of the Houston Tidelanders to DCMS for a workshop in the fall semester in addition to our normal UIL activities. There is much more to be excited about, which will be revealed for classes as the semester moves on. 

To stay updated on all choir-related information, please make sure to regularly check your email and Schoology. We’ll be sending out important documents and correspondence through these channels.
