A member of the class of 2027, Nashrah is a junior at Kempner High School, where she is involved in leadership‑oriented and STEM‑focused organizations such as Fort Bend ISD Student Voices, Girls in STEM, TSA, the Engineering endorsement, and the Esports Team. She has earned Fusion 360 certification, completed a full AP/Honors course load, and received College Board National Recognition. Outside of school, she has gained entrepreneurial experience by helping assist her parents’ small business, working as a freelance designer, and building real experience in graphic design, marketing, and online sales through Etsy and Fiverr. She has also served as a social media manager for a professional and highly rated housing rental company and volunteered at local community events, highlighting her passion for creativity.
Her Capstone project focuses on analyzing how male peers’ acknowledgment or dismissal of female students’ agency influences their leadership aspirations in a high school engineering classroom, drawing from mixed‑methods research to examine gender dynamics, representation, and agency development. This work reflects her broader interest in gender equity in STEM. After graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in Information Technology. In addition to acquiring a degree, she wants to continue working on side projects, while also becoming an entrepreneur and contributing to tech‑related research that focuses on increasing representation and accessibility in STEM fields.
