Welcome! My name is Lisa Socha (pronounced so-ha), and I am excited about serving my first year as the librarian at Elkins! I am looking forward to supporting and encouraging students to be life-long learners and readers! Prior to becoming a school librarian, I was a senior public librarian of children's services. I have served in education for over 20 years. I am originally from Central Texas, the Fort Hood and Austin areas, where I spent the majority of my life. I completed the Department of Library Science and Technology master's degree program at Sam Houston State University. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, with a specialization in Language and Literature, from Texas Tech University. WRECK'EM TECH!
