Miss Chandra Burrell

Welcome to E.A. Jones Elementary Library!

My name is Chandra Burrell and I earned my Library Certification from Texas Women's University. I received my Bachelors degree from Huston-Tillotson College and my Master of Education in Elementary Education from University of Houston - Main Campus. 

I am excited to be the librarian at E.A. Jones Elementary where I can work with all the students and staff in the school. I am committed to helping each student grow as learners. My role is to support students in their efforts to read books for pleasure and information, research projects, and learn to search the Web.

 Our school library is a learning center for our students and provides instruction and support to help prepare students for the future. I welcome the opportunity for everyone to stop by the library.
