Hello I am Ms. Melton

Welcome to 2nd grade and welcome to my classroom of learning!  I am a graduate of the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies.  I am certified grades first - eighth and I have been teaching for 17 years.  All 17 years have been at E. A. Jones Elementary where I have taught grades third through fifth and this year being my 1st year in a primary grade.  It was an honor in 2019 to have been selected as our campus Teacher of the year!  No matter how hard it gets I am going to do my best to help my students succeed.  I was born and raised in Stafford and attended school in Fort Bend ISD, graduate of Dulles High School. I am also, a proud Grandmother of a 3 1/2 active boy who keeps me busy.   We definitely have a lot to accomplish this year and I look forward to having an awesome successful school year!  Please feel free to contact me at anytime!  Team work is the best work!
