I started my teaching in 2015 at Cornerstone Elementary. Prior to joining the Cornerstone Chameleons, I worked for the FBISD Extended Learning Program for fourteen years.

I was born and raised in the subtropical South Texas, known as the Rio Grande Valley, where thorny shrubs and deciduous trees take over. I lived in the Mission/McAllen, Texas area for ten years before my family made our permanent home in Sugar Land, Texas. I have a wonderful husband, a sweet daughter, and a goldendoodle. I am a graduate of Kempner High School and the University of Houston – Downtown with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Psychology. I am also a graduate of Lamar University with a Masters in Educational Administration.
