Hello!  My name is Mrs. T. Gray. I am excited about this year and being able to be a part of your child’s educational journey to SUCCESS!

Although, this is my third year at Hodges Bend Middle School as the AVID coordinator and elective teacher, this year marks the beginning of my TWENTY-EIGHTH year as an educator.

I am a product of Fort Bend ISD, graduating from Willowridge High School.  I began my teaching career in Duncanville, TX after earning a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. After a year in Duncanville, I returned to the Houston area to contribute to the communities that nourished and nurtured me. 

Working in Aldine, Alief and now Fort Bend have given me the opportunity and pleasure of teaching and learning from EXCEPTIONAL individuals and students who are and will shape our future!

My goals this year are to foster student growth both academically and socially, establish meaningful relationships with my students, create a positive learning environment where my students feel safe to learn and share ideas, and improve college and career readiness that put students on the pathway to discover their gifts and create their own future story.

I believe that if teacher and parents work together through communication, collaboration and consistency, we can help your child to facilitate the best educational experience possible while developing the skills to be a LIFE-LONG LEARNER who recognizes their potentials.
