Mrs. Kesha Randle
My name is Kesha Randle. I am a native Houstonian. I hold a B.S. degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Reading from Prairie View A&M University. I have had the pleasure of educationg children for 18 years. I enjoy inspiring students to imagine the possibilities of their futures and inspire their desire to learn. I am passionate about finding the most effective ways of stimulating and sustaining intellectual growth among the students who enter my classroom. My purpose is to equip them with the necessary tools to be productive and successful scholars, while enhancing student learning as a transformative experience. I want my students to feel personally changed by their participation in the class that I am teaching. I work to encourage students to challenge existing boundaries and obstacles by teaching them to make the personal decision to move beyond these boundaries. I believe it is this movement “against and beyond boundaries” that both empowers and transforms my students. I have found that learning about the students I teach and listening to their experiences has helped me to reconsider ways of making course material relevant and fostering critical thinking skills. As a teacher, I am attentive to these factors and work to be flexible, adapting my approaches according to the needs of my students, the subject matter, and setting. I believe it is crucial for teachers to cultivate learning partnerships with students. I hope to effectively empower students and provide high quality education.I look forward to working with our future world changers!
