Salutations!  I am one of the art teachers here at Hodges Bend Middle School.  This year I am teaching Art I. I was born and raised in Houston.  I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree.  I have worked in education for this my 29th year; twenty-seven in Houston I.S.D. and two in Fort Bend I.S.D., for Hodges Bend MS.  I believe anyone can create art. It just takes practice and confidence. Having a little fun doesn't hurt either.   In my class we will delve into art techniques that can be used in and out of class, to create great artwork. So, let's jump in with both feet and learn about ART.
