Welcome to Mrs. Larson's 6th Grade World Cultures Class!

Hi there! My name is Ashlee Larson, and I am excited to be at Hodges Bend Middle School this year! I have been teaching for ten years, and this is my first year as an HBMS Warrior! I love to laugh and be silly, so it is my hope that my students have fun while learning in my class.

I have a fourteen-year-old step-daughter who is a freshman in Katy, a daughter who will be in 2nd grade this year, a son who will be in 1st grade this year, and a three-year-old son. I'm looking forward to sharing stories about my family with my students and learning about the families in my classes.

I graduated from Houston Baptist University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Multidisciplinary Studies. GO HUSKIES! I played volleyball for two years at HBU, and I still enjoy playing the game when I can.

I enjoy being active and creative, both in the classroom and in my free time, so I am looking forward to a fun year filled with laughter, learning, and great memories.
