When is the library open?
Virtual: Online resources are 24/7; the librarian is online from 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM on Mondays-Fridays.
Face-to-Face: Students are currently not allowed to visit the library during Covid-19. Please visit our Schoology course to see a list of what services we have available or contact the librarian at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do I need a pass to go to the library?
Yes, you do need a pass to visit the library during school hours. However, during Covid-19 students will not be allowed in the library and should use our virtual services or contact the librarian via email.
How many books can I check out?
Students may check out up the three books at a time.
How long can I keep the books?
Students may keep library books for two weeks. If you need more time than that, you can renew the books online by yourself, as long as the books are not yet overdue. Watch this video for instructions on renewing books online https://www.wevideo.com/view/1803222467.
Do you charge late fees?
We do not charge late fees for books, but we do charge for lost or damaged books to cover the cost of a replacement book. However, if you cannot pay for a lost or damaged book, please see Mrs. Babaian.
Do I really need my student ID to check out books?
Yes, you really do, especially during the Covid-19 shutdown and curbside service. You will also need your student ID to pick up laptops.
I have books from my middle school. Can I turn them in to you?
Yes, you can turn them into us as long you attended middle school in Fort Bend ISD. We cannot deliver books that come from another school district.
Can you reset my password/tell me what my password is?
Library staff across the district no longer have access to usernames and passwords.
