Mylana Jackson graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.  She has also received masters degrees in Social Work and Educational Leadership, both from the University of Houston.  Ms. Jackson began her teaching career at the high school level where she taught English for eleven years.  She has also worked as a counseling facilitator at the high school level, served three years as the Coordinator of Special Projects/DATE Grant in the Fort Bend ISD Accountability Department, has worked as a high school and middle school administrator.   In her spare time, Ms. Jackson enjoys traveling, cooking, participating in outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.
