Ms. Evelyn Dimas

My name is Evelyn Dimas. I enjoy teaching aspiring healthcare students about the awesome field of Medicine. This year will be my 34th year in Education. I am a Licensed Athletic Trainer/Educator and enjoy athletics, and showing my Pekingese Dogs in AKC Dog Shows. I am originally from Biloxi, Mississippi but have lived in the awesome state of Texas for many years. I graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Sports Medicine and Education. I also have a Master's Degree in Education, Sports Medicine and School Counseling from The University of West Alabama. My teaching certifications include Health Science 6-12, Health Education 8-12, All-Level Physical Education, and School Counselor EC-12. I teach Medical Terminology and Health Science Theory here at Elkins High School. I have a wealth of experience to share with my students aspiring to go into the Health Care Industry, as I come from a family of Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists and a Registered Dietician. I am looking forward to a great year at the Castle!
