I am originally from the Fort Worth area and graduated from Howard Payne University with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1997. After deciding that I wanted to work with kids, I obtained my teaching certificate in 2000. I taught elementary for 14 years before my heart told me that I needed to help the children beyond my classroom. I obtained my Master’s degree in School Counseling from the University of Houston - Victoria in 2014 and have been at Cornerstone since 2015.

I am married and have 3 wonderful boys. Jordan is a band director in Magnolia ISD and married to my amazing bonus daughter Kim, who is band director in Alief ISD. Ethan graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Engineering. And Mason is a Sophomore in high school and enjoys theater production. I enjoy quilting, being crafty, spending time with my family and of course, all things Wonder Woman!
