Hello, my name is Munera Moid and this is my 14th year teaching at SLMS.  I have a B.S in Biology and a M.S in Science Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Houston.  I served as a Champion of Gifted Student (COGS) for the past two years, team leader and this year moving up to the Science Department Head position.  I teach both regular and Pre-Ap classes, this year the acronym has changed to Advanced Academic Course (AAC).  7th grade science covers a wide array of interesting concepts such as humans in space, cells, genetics, change/time, human body systems, ecosystems, biodiversity and impact of natural and human events.  I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year.  Thank you for joining us on this journey through the beautiful and exciting world of science.
