Hello. Welcome to my webpage! A little about me…I’m a native Floridian and a resident of Texas for more than 30 years. My husband and I are the proud parents of two daughters and one son. Both our daughters have grown up, graduated college, gotten married, and have embarked on their own life’s journey. Our son has decided to take a break from his schooling and has moved to Tuscon, AZ to begin his journey across the United States. We also have the most amazing grand daughter! My husband and I are over the moon excited about everything that little girl does! :)
I have taught at Sugar Land Middle School for 17 years. I have taught English Language Arts for both sixth and seventh grade. I am currently teaching seventh grade ELA and the Reading Elective-Dyslexia. It is my desire to teach my students not only reading and writing skills, but also the beauty of communicating their thoughts, ideas, and feelings through the use of the language.
My future plans include continuing to teach, traveling, learning, and spoiling my precious granddaughter.
