Hi! My name is Karen Farley and I am excited about teaching Sixth Grade Math! I have been teaching for over 30 years and I am honored to be part of your child’s success.

I have been happily married to my husband, Glenn for over 27 years, and we have three wonderful kids: Candice, Chris, and Abby. I also have an amazing son-in-law, Charlie, and a precious granddaughter, Taylor. I am blessed to have a Godson, Aaron, who is also like my son and was my former student. I grew up in Sugar Land, attended SLMS back in the day, so I am a proud product of this great District!

As a teacher, my goal is to trigger in my students a deep love for learning, creating perseverance that will last a lifetime. I hope to guide my students in developing an appreciation for math that they will deem necessary in everyday life. I want to instill in them that every setback or failure will lead to learning and, thus, success.

I look forward to working with you to further your child’s education and future.
