  • Brazos River Flooding 

    Fort Bend ISD has been closely monitoring the Brazos River flooding expectations throughout the weekend, working with Fort Bend County Emergency Operations Center, local Levee Improvement Districts, and the National Weather Service.

    At this time, Fort Bend ISD is planning to operate all schools under normal schedules tomorrow, Tuesday, May 31. Please know that our Fort Bend ISD team will continue to work with the Fort Bend County Office of Emergency Management and other local agencies to monitor conditions in areas of the District that could be impacted by possible street flooding, as the safety of our students and staff members is the District’s highest priority.

    Should any changes to normal operations become necessary at any campus, Fort Bend ISD will notify all students and staff members in accordance with our emergency protocols using School Messenger, the District’s website/Twitter account, and local broadcast media.

    As always, Fort Bend ISD asks all families and staff members to use your best judgment when making decisions about yourself or your family, and never attempt to drive through high water.
