I am proud to serve as your Assistant Principal at Sugar Land Middle School! This is my tenth year as an educator and my eighth year in Fort Bend ISD. In addition to my years at Malala Elementary as Assistant Principal, I have also served as an EL Specialist at Sugar Mill Elementary and have taught second and third grade during my tenure as a classroom teacher at Settlers Way Elementary and Walker Station Elementary, respectively.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Cinema Studies with a minor in Sociology from Purchase College (NY). I also have a master’s degree in Childhood Education (Hunter College), in addition to a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University. Education is very important to me as I believe it is something that is valuable and irreplaceable.

I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York by two hard-working and loving parents from the Dominican Republic. Growing up, I was blessed to have compassionate teachers and leaders who made learning fun and purposeful. I am now passing on those values to my two awesome sons as they continue to grow. My goal is to lead and build capacity with our teachers to ensure that every learner is successful in everything that they do!
