In December 2021, I graduated with my bachelors degree in Education as a certified ESL EC-6th grade teacher from Texas State University. Prior to graduating, I was hired by FBISD and I started my first teaching position at Colony Meadows in January 2022. I have been a tiger ever since and have loved getting to be part of this wonderful community! I have been in 2nd grade since starting my position here at CME but have experience working with children of all ages. I was born in Corpus Christi, TX and raised in the Sugar Land/Missouri City area. I attended school in FBISD K-12 and graduated from Ridge Point High School in 2017. Go Panthers!

Last April I married my wonderful husband Matthew and became Mrs. Shrode! We love spending time with our family and our 3 fur-babies! Some of my passions include crocheting, baking and, most of all, reading. I feel so honored to get to open children up to the wonderful world of books and all things reading as an ELAR teacher. I am so excited for my fourth year in second grade. We are on the prowl for success! #GOTIGERS
