Hello Tiger Families!

My name is Elissa Villarreal...Harvey since I will be getting married in October 2024! This is my third year of teaching and service at Colony Meadows Elementary. This 2024-2025 school year I will be serving you as the 4th grade GT ELAR teacher. I came to Colony Meadows in the 2022-2023 school year after graduating from the University of Houston in 2022.

I am a first-gerneration Mexican American woman and was born and raised in the small city of Stafford, Texas where I also attended school from Pre-K through 12 at Stafford MSD. I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I love reading, crocheting, plants, boba tea, food and being crafty, but most importantly I have a deep love and passion for teaching!  My belief is that every child brings something unique to the classroom and I am here to bring those strengths together in an environment where they will thrive. My hope for all of my students is to not only have an impact on their lives, but to see how they will have an impact on mine.

It is a privilege to serve in such an inviting and famliy-oriented campus.  I am looking forward to a successful and enriching school year here at CME!
